A life of practice.
A willingness to return.
My relationship with health and fitness began in my teenage years. More than four decades later, I am still learning what it means to remain capable through changing seasons of life.
Life was never a straight line. Family, career, business and difficult periods changed the routines I could sustain. Those experiences taught me to distinguish a temporary change of pace from the loss of a deeper direction.
Being the father of two daughters added another dimension. Responsibility meant being present, giving time and guidance, and recognising when family needed to come first.
The practice
An early connection with exercise becomes a continuing commitment to health.
The responsibilities
Family, work and changing circumstances reshape the ideal routine.
The return
Mid-course corrections keep deeper values in view.
The purpose
Strategic Longevity brings the focus to lifelong capability and independence.
Direction matters more
than an uninterrupted record.
Three principles keep bringing me back: a proactive approach, clear goals and the compounding power of habits. They help me ask what is within my influence, what matters in this season and which action I can sustain.

My learning has crossed science, technology, business, personal development and health. Each field has strengthened my interest in patterns, purposeful decisions and practical action.
